Heart of Larch

This design represents the entwining of two families and two countries.I combined the larch trees the grow alongside the private lane that runs down to the beach near Monte Argentario, Italy, with Magnolia seed pods from my garden. Dave and Sacha have a holiday home on the causeway near Porto Santo Stefano, it is one of my favourite places to escape to.

An English Ad man and a Dutch artist, they live in Italy with their three gorgeous girls who chatter nineteen to the dozen in a mix of English, Dutch and Italian. We visit them in Italy and occasionally they take over our house in London. Chaos ensues. London and Italy muddle together.
