THE FRIDA Hot Orange

I created the design for ‘The Frida’ silk scarf after visiting the exhibition about Frida Kahlo at the V&A, and of course by Frida herself. The big, bold flowers and bright colours of the centre design reflect Frida’s passion for life, vibrant paintings and colourful dress stye, the stone texture and sprokets that border the design reference her disabilities and the hardship she suffered throughout her life.

A British take on a Mexican tour de force.
